Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the image forming device which can set a function for a 2nd job and instructs its execution even during the operation of a 1st job, and perform the recording operation of the 1st job and 2nd reading operation in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: An image input device 9 reads out a document and stores it in a storage device 10, an image output device 11 records the image in the storage device 10 after the read, and an MPU 1 performs control so as to record the image in the storage device 10. By depressing the operation reservation button of a function operation device 8 during the operation of the 1st job, the function of the 2nd job similar to the 1st job can be set. A registration button is depressed, a document for the 2nd job is set, and by depressing a scan start button, the recording operation of the image output device 11 for the 1st job and the read operation of the image input device 9 for the 2nd job can be performed in parallel.
