To provide a cinerary management system for enabling a client to manage ashes near his or her new address even when the address or dwelling place of the client changes.
The cinerary management system is provided with: an urn in which the ashes of the deceased or an animal is stored; a member store group constituted of a plurality of member stores given fixed business rights, and connected through a network to each other for managing the urn; a management device connected to the network for managing the urn information of the urn managed by at least each member store, and for giving identification information to a client who requests the management of the urn, and for managing the identification information; and an information terminal for enabling the client given the identification information to perform access through the network to the management device and for displaying the urn information of the urn based on the identification information, wherein the management place of the urn based on the identification information can be changed to another member store in the member store group.
