To provide a cinerary urn preventing penetration of external water and moisture, and maintaining bones in a good condition for a long time.

The cinerary urn main body 10 is provided with an almost circular shaped bone store part 12 with a side wall 11 which is made by perforating. An upper surface 13 of the side wall 11 is mirror shaped by plane-finishing. In the bottom of a lid part 20, a convex part 21 protruding into the part 12 is formed. Around the part 21, a contacting surface 22 is formed so as to contact the surface 13, and is mirror shaped by plane-finishing in the same way as the surface 13. Therefore, when the body 10 is capped with the part 20, the surface 13, 22 touch closely with each other so that external water is not allowed to penetrate. In the bottom of the body 10, a drying member 30 is provided, wherein a crushed charcoal 32 with a few mm size is stored as a desiccant in a cloth bag 31.
