A cinerary urn is composed of a main body container 1 for ashes, a container 3 for ashes of a throat bone part to be detachably inserted into the main body container 1, and a cover 2 of the main body container 1. A protrusion 4 to support the throat bone part container 3 is formed on an inner wall close to an aperture part of the main body container 1 for ashes, where the protrusion 4 is composed of a throat part of the main body container 1 for ashes, desirably, an overhang part with which the protrusion 4 is engaged is formed on an outer wall of an upper edge part of the throat bone part container 3, where sidewalls of the throat bone part container 3 is formed like a flower of a morning glory, desirably, and a gap (a) of such a size that a finger can be inserted may be formed between the main body container 1 for ashes and the throat bone part container 3.
