PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel circadian rhythm improvement agent.SOLUTION: The technical characteristics of the present invention to solve the aforementioned problem are as follows. 1. A circadian rhythm improving agent containing passion flower extract (excluding those containing harmine). 2. The circadian rhythm improving agent described in 1. characterized by having an effect of adjusting the amplitude and/or the periodic length of the expressed rhythm of a clock gene. 3. The circadian rhythm improving agent described in 2. characterized in that the clock gene is the Per2 gene and/or the Cry2 gene. 4. The circadian rhythm improving agent described in any one of 1. to 3. characterized in that the passion flower extract comprises at least one selected from isovitexin, isoschaftoside, homoorientin, schaftoside, isovitexin-2"-O-glucoside and derivatives thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
