Title:
CIRCUIT BOARD WITH METAL TERMINAL PIECE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF CONDUCTOR PIECE ONTO THE CIRCUIT BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3198331
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a precise soldering and prevent the deviation in position of a metal terminal piece once positioned, by soldering the metal terminal piece onto the main body of a board so that the metal terminal piece may be stretched over a through hole or cutout formed at a proper place of the main body of the board.
SOLUTION: In a circuit board 5, terminal pieces 53, 54 are so soldered onto the main body 50 of the board that they may be stretched over cutouts 51, 52. In other words, the terminal pieces 53, 54 are so soldered onto the main body 50 of the board that they may be seen through the cutouts 51, 52. Therefore, when spot-welding conductor pieces to the terminal pieces 53, 54 to connect them, Joule heat does not diffuse to the soldered sections where the main body of the board and the terminal pieces 53, 54 are connected and melt the soldered sections again. By this method, when the conductor pieces are connected to the terminal pieces 53, 54, the soldered sections are not melted again and therefore such a defect can be prevented that the terminal pieces 53, 54 once positioned may deviate in position.
