Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable attachment between the latch assembly of a circuit breaker and an operational mechanism assembly without requiring screw(s) and rivet(s) by catching, in press fitting way, an operational mechanism between the cover and the case of the circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION: The cover 12 of a stack protection unit 10 is pressed downward so as to touch a case 11. When the cover is attached to the case, an operational mechanism is subjected to press fitting between step parts 32A, 32B integrally formed on the bottom parts of side pieces, 24, 25 having corners and opposing step parts 52A, 52B formed integrally in the cover. In this way, the latch assembly and the operation mechanism assembly of a circuit breaker can be attached without requiring screw(s) and rivet(s).
