Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker and a photovoltaic generation monitoring system that reduce energy loss due to backward current and thereby can save space and wiring.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker 4 includes: a first connection terminal 11A; a second connection terminal 12A; an electric circuit 13A for electrically connecting between the first and second connection terminals 11A, 12A in order to make forward current flow from the first connection terminal 11A to the second connection terminal 12A; a switch 21 for switching the electric circuit 13A; a current measuring unit 22 (backward current detection unit) for detecting backward current provided on the electric circuit 13A for detecting backward current flowing from the second connection terminal 12A to the first connection terminal 11A; a communication unit 24 for receiving, from the outside, a circuit open command signal to open the electric circuit 13A; and a control unit 25 for controlling the switch 21. The control unit 25 controls the breaker 21 to open the electric path 13A when the current measuring unit 22 detects backward current or when the communication unit 24 receives a circuit open command signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
