Title:
CIRCUIT BREAKER REMOVING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3890150
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick power-up initial setting of a microprocessor of removing apparatus, by promoting initiation of sampling process and application of protection algorithm through application of auxiliary initial setting algorithm to the microprocessor.
SOLUTION: An external non-volatile memory(NVM) 33 is connected to a micro-controller via a conductor 34. Here, NVH 33 includes a removing apparatus together with the calibration coefficient used for current sampling algorithm. A current signal from a current transformer(CT) is inputted to an analog/ digital converter 49 and then enters CPU 35 via a data bus 51 for conducting necessary protecting function via an output conductor. As a result, on the occasion of transferring a large amount of data a RAM 36 from NVM 33, a certain delay occurs until the micro-controller becomes ready for conducting arithmetic operation from the timing when the contact of the related circuit breaker is closed first, thereby becoming the initial setting possible.
