To provide a circuit breaker unit for preventing to flow a reverse current in a DC power distribution system.
The circuit breaker unit is equipped as shown in Fig.1 with a power-side terminal 1 and a load-side terminal 2, a main contact 3 formed on a main circuit MC to connect the power-side terminal 1 and the load-side terminal 2, a switching mechanism 4 to switch the main contact 3, a tripping unit 5 to break the switching mechanism 4 for opening the main contact 3, and a rectifying element 6 (diode) inserted in the main circuit MC between the main contact 3 and the load-side terminal 2. Consequently, the rectifying element 6 prevents to flow the reverse current in the main contact 3, and to do harm to a DC load L and the like connected to other branching circuits before something happens.
