Abstract:
To provide an economical and smart circuit breaker having an electronic tripping device and an electronic transducer.
A circuit breaker 10 of the type having an electronic tripping device for judging over-current includes Hall effect device or a GMR device for detecting a current flowing in a circuit to be protected, as well as a separate circuit for supplying electric power to a tripping device 19. A detachable optional plague 20 for enabling protection from grounding accidents and arc generation is electrically connected with the tripping device 19.
