To provide a circuit breaker that equalizes electromagnetic repulsive forces to be operated to a power supply side of a bridging part of a movable contactor and a load side at current-limiting opening, and that enables a current-limiting opening operation while maintaining a horizontal attitude of the bridging part, in a two-contact point pair (fork type) circuit breaker.
In a breaking part 10 of a circuit breaker, when a direction in which a movable contact point 31 is separated from a fixed contact point 11 by rotation of a movable contactor 3 from a closed state is defined as an upward direction, a current path of a terminal part 12 of a first fixed contactor 1 is provided above a fixed contact point attachment position G at closing of the movable contactor 3.
