To provide a circuit breaker structure which has excellent operating characteristics and which allows a movable contact piece to be housed in a small space, as a connecting conductor connected to one of terminal-side fixed conductors.
A circuit breaker comprises: an overcurrent detection part conductor 5a which is displaced when an overcurrent flows; a movable contact conductor 3; and a fixed contact conductor 1 which can be in a contact or non-contact state with respect to the movable contact conductor 3. The movable contact conductor 3 is made up of a leaf spring, that is, a plate-shaped conductor having elasticity. A movable contact 4 is provided on one end of the conductor, and the other end is connected to the overcurrent detection part conductor 5a so as to be displaceable in accordance with the displacement of the overcurrent detection part conductor 5a. Further, the movable contact conductor 3 comprises a case 20 and is fixed to the case 20 at least at one fixed point 7. The movable contact conductor 3 has the movable contact 4 which comes into contact with the fixed contact conductor 1. The fixed point 7 of the movable contact conductor 3 is arranged closer to the movable contact than a junction R is. The movable contact conductor 3 has a support point 8 between the fixed point 7 and the movable contact 4.
