Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily transfer heat due to an arc generated at a contact or connection point to a draw-removal frame.SOLUTION: It is presupposed that a circuit breaker includes a terminal connected to a cable way, and a stator piece and a mover piece connected to the terminal and also includes driving means of making a contact atop of the mover piece contact and leave a contact atop of the stator piece to achieve making and breaking, and the driving means includes a movable frame and a draw-removal frame successive in an instrument frame lengthwise direction and a snap mechanism above the center of an instrument frame. The circuit breaker is so configured that a base end of a bimetal is fixed nearby a connection position between the stator piece and the terminal; the bimetal is raised along both lateral directional sides of the draw-removal frame; the draw-removal frame is rotated in a direction in which the contacts are broken by utilizing displacement of a tip part accompanying temperature deformation of the bimetal so as to break the contacts which are opened; and a permanent magnet piece for arc scattering is fitted in a heat insulation case of the bimetal provided on both the lateral directional sides of the draw-removal frame.
