Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of easily achieving breaking requirements required to a high voltage circuit breaker in a short breaking time.SOLUTION: The circuit breaker includes: a pair of pressure vessels 1 and 2 each filled with an insulation medium; plural contactors 7 and 9 each having a contact point; plural operation units 29 and 30 each drives the contact point; an insulation spacer 3 that segments the pressure vessels 1 and 2 into the numbers identical to the number of contactors to form inner spaces 101 and 102; and an electrode 6 which extends penetrating the insulation spacer 3 and is fixed to the insulation spacer 3. Each of the inner spaces 101 and 102 are provided with one contactor respectively. All of the contact points are electrically connected to each other in series via the electrode 6, and each of the operation units 29 and 30 drives the corresponding contact point.
