Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of interrupting a DC high voltage by improving arc-extinguishing performance of a circuit interrupter.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker includes first and second circuit interrupters 4a and 4b that are provided in such a manner as to correspond to respective poles of the circuit breaker. The second circuit interrupter 4b includes a plurality of first grids 43 with the same width, and a second grid 45 that is arranged in an upper part of the first grid 43 and that is narrower than the first grid 43. The first grid 43 is held by a first grid support 42 and a second grid support, and the second grid 45 is held by the second grid support 42 and a third grid support 44.
