Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of presenting a display function of a display without impairing a tripping function even in a region where a load current flowing in an AC electric path is a low current.SOLUTION: The circuit breaker comprises: a switching contact 3 for opening/closing an AC electric path 2; a tripping circuit 4 for opening the switching contact 3; a current transformer 5 that is current detection means for detecting the load current flowing in the AC electric path 2; a display 8 which displays an electrification state of the AC electric path 2; a control part 7 for controlling the tripping circuit 4 and the display 8; a power supply circuit 6 which generates an internal power source; and a current detection circuit 9 which generates a measurement current value in proportion to the load current based on the detection current of the current transformer 5. The control part 7 includes a setting part 14 for setting correlation data of a magnitude of the measurement current value and a luminance of the display 8 and on the basis of the set correlation data, the luminance of the display 8 is changed in response to a change of the measurement current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
