Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the rotational rigidity of a bimetal to improve the accuracy in an overcurrent tripping operation of a circuit breaker, thereby increasing cutoff performance.SOLUTION: In a circuit breaker, a lower current-carrying conductor 27a is fixed to a bottom of a lower case 12a of a body case, and two engaging sections 37a, 37b of a fixed yoke 31 of a bimetal 30 on a free end side, the bimetal being spaced with respect to the lower current-carrying conductor, are fixed to walls 46a, 46b at the inside of the body case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
