Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of preventing deterioration of the contact point with an inexpensive configuration even if an inrush current flows at turning-on the power.SOLUTION: A contact point part for connecting/cutting-off a cable way composed of two poles includes: a pair of main contact point part C composed of a first main contact part C1 provided in one pole and a second main contact point part C2 provided in the other pole; and an auxiliary contact point part D arranged in parallel to the second main contact point C2. A contact point 8 used for the auxiliary contact point part D is formed of a material having higher hardness than a contact point 7 used in the main contact point part C. Closing order of three contact point parts C1, C2, D is specified by a closing mechanism, and when a circuit breaker 10 receives closing operation, the first main contact point part C1, the auxiliary contact point part D, and the second main contact point part C2 are closed in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
