Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify a structure surrounding an arc-extinguishing chamber in a circuit breaker equipped with a deion type arc-extinguishing device.
CONSTITUTION: An insulator 14 striding over a grid 2 as well as a magnetically impelled iron-core 13 is integrally formed out of molded resin and a grid 2 is inserted in a groove formed on the side wall 14a of the insulator 14. In addition, the insulator 14 is coupled to the leg of the core 13 via a recess formed on the side wall 14a. According to this construction, the support plate of the grid 2 and the insulation member of the core 13 are integrated with the insulator 14 and a structure is simplified.
