Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a spring for urging a movable contact from being melted by arc gas generated when a contact point is opened.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a circuit breaker 1 which includes: a contact point part 4 composed of a fixed contact point 42 and a movable contact point 44; a cross bar 5 for lifting and lowering a movable contact 6 in conjunction with a handle 3; and a spring 7 which is biased to the movable contact. When the cross bar is arranged between the contact point part and the spring, and the movable contact is located in an open position, the lower end of the cross bar is located downward than the upper end of the fixed contact point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
