Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker that can simplify the configuration while saving space.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker (10) includes a fixed contact (12) and a movable contact (14) provided so as to be able to come into contact with each other, energize in a contact state, and cut off the energization in a separated state, a cylinder (32) capable of generating compressed air, an air tank (38) capable of storing compressed air generated in the cylinder, a nozzle (38) that blows the compressed air stored in an air tank against an arc (K) generated between the fixed contact and the movable contact, and a solenoid valve (39) that controls the compressed air flowing from the air tank to the nozzle.
