To provide a circuit-breaker provided with a practical limiting mechanism for limiting the operation of an operating handle to off position at the time of welding a movable contact and a fixed contact.

When an operating handle 5 is operated in the direction of an arrow A in the welding condition of a fixed contact 2a and a movable contact 12a, a lower link 8 is locked with an existing correlation shaft 6 so that the operation of the operating handle 5 is limited before achieving the off position. With this structure, since a dedicated stopper for locking the lower link 8 is eliminated, in the non-welding condition of the fixed contact 2a and the movable contact 12a, the operating handle 5 is operated smoothly without hindrance by a stopper. Furthermore, a spatial margin for arranging a dedicated stopper becomes unnecessary, and application to an actual product is facilitated.
