Title:
CIRCUIT CONTROLLING POWER CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRIC RESISTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0260463
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain power consumption to be constant, by generating a feedback current corresponding to a current flowing through a resistor and a correction current corresponding to the change of a supply voltage, and adjusting the power consumption by an error signal designated by the above currents. CONSTITUTION: Instead of the feedback of a signal proportional to an effective value current flowing through the resistor 34 of a heater, a correction current is generated on the basis of the change of a supply voltage by a correction circuit 55. This circuit generates the correction current, and its resistor 56 is coupled with a supply voltage and generates a variable current 13 changing with the change of the supply voltage. A resistor 58 is coupled with an effective value reference voltage, and the resistors 36, 54 and the like form a generating means of a feedback current I1. When a DC supply voltage is lower than or equal to a nominal value, a variable current I3 is smaller than a second reference current I2. As a result, the average current (current I1) of the heater so acts that a control loop maintains a stationary state, and increases.
