Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit of a highly power-saving effect because the length of a battery operating time is directly connected with charm of a product as to a battery-driven device while there is a tendency to require function improvement and downsizing of the device.
SOLUTION: An information processing device 10 includes a 1st function block 12 for drawing control and a 2nd function block 14 for controlling the operation mode of the 1st function block. Drawing is finally performed by a display device 18. The 2nd function block 14 shifts the operation mode of the 1st function block 12 to a power-saving mode when the 1st function block 12 completes a picture to be drawn within a drawing unit period, namely, within the frame period before the frame period ends. Further, when the next frame starts, the 2nd function block 14 shifts the 1st function block 12 back to the normal mode from the power-saving mode based on a vertical synchronous signal indicating the start.
