To provide a circuit protection unit which can be reduced in a circuit and which can simplify a mounting work.

The circuit protection unit includes a temperature fuse 2 melted by a temperature rise, a surge absorber 3 for absorbing a transient voltage or current, and a case 1 for housing the temperature fuse 2 and the surge absorber 3. The temperature fuse 2 and the surge absorber 3 are housed so that the lead wires 2A, 2B of the temperature fuse 2 and the lead wires 3A, 3B of the surge absorber 3 are led from the outside of the case 1. Thus, since the temperature fuse 2 and the surge absorber 3 are housed and integrated in the case 1, the circuit can be reduced in size. Since the lead wires 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B necessary to connect are led to the outside of the case 1, the mounting work can be simplified.
