Title:
CIRCUIT SEPARATION UNIT AND RADIO BASE STATION UNIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014135832
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a control circuit from failing in the event of lightning at a higher probability.SOLUTION: A circuit separation unit for selectively connecting and disconnecting a control circuit in a control device to and from a distribution line includes: a lightning detection device provided separately from the control device to detect lightning; an optical fiber for connecting the control circuit and the lightning detection device; a circuit separation device built in the control device, having a first switch section for connecting the control circuit to the distribution line and a second switch section for connecting the control circuit to a ground, and capable of selectively connecting and disconnecting each path of wiring by means of the first switch section and the second switch section; and a separation control section integrated with the control circuit to control the operation of the circuit separation device. When acquiring information that the lightning detection device has detected lightning via the optical fiber, the separation control section disconnects the first switch section and the second switch section in the circuit separation device to electrically separate the control circuit from the distribution line and the ground.
