Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically provide an STM circuit and to obtain a circuit- switched network reduced in delay time and overhead by analyzing a TCP-IP address with an STM network and executing routing based on the IP address in a burst unit.
SOLUTION: Plural subscriber switching systems LS accommodating one or more terminals and a tandem switching system TS connecting LSs are provided. The switching systems LS and TS are connected to each other through the STM network (synchronous transfer mode). The switching system LS has the control circuit of a means obtaining information of an allocated time slot such as a means for receiving burst data having the TCP-IP(transmission control protocol) addresses arriving from the terminal. The control circuit transfers information of arriving burst data to the other subscriber switching system LS through a No.7 signal network, refers to the IP address data base DB and returns it to the switching system LS of a transmission source.
