PURPOSE: To perform switching of a circuit switchgear instantly and accurately by using a linear motor instead of an ac inductive motor or a dc motor.

CONSTITUTION: When a driving switch 22 is operated and a contact (a) is closed with a toggle switch 23 closed, driving current 25 runs in a linear condenser motor 20, and a needle 12 is moved instantly in linear in a direction corresponding to the driving current 25, receiving the magnetic force generated. Two linking rods 41, 42, a lever drive 2, and two fulcrums 81, 82 of a fulcrum-set plate 5 are linked with the needle 12 so as to construct an interlocking mechanism. The lever drive 2 moves instantly in linear in a reverse direction to the needle 12 according to the linear movement of the needle 12, so as for a circuit switchgear to for example be closed instantly through the driving of a lever 3. Switching of the circuit switchgear 1 can thus be performed instantly and accurately.
