A circular knitted fabric obtained by knitting a polyester false twist yarn is subjected from its surface to needle punching treatment, a part of the constituent yarn of the circular knitted fabric is projected to the back of the circular knitted fabric, the constituent yarns are mutually interlaced in the course direction to form ridge-like projections and the interval between the adjoining ridge-like projections in the wale direction is made ≤6 mm and an acrylic acid ester-based resin is selectively applied to the ridge-like projections by a coating method, or the like, to prevent run occurrence.
