To provide a circular knitting machine aligned with a thread changing device.
The circular knitting machine aligned with the thread changing device comprises first and second thread changing devices 20 and 30, a drive cam set 40, and a cylinder sheet having a plurality of knitting needles. The first and second thread changing devices comprise thread supplying mechanisms, respectively. These thread supplying mechanisms outwardly move to thread supplying positions through a first thread supplying step and a second thread supplying step so as to provide the threads. The drive cam set has a first drive track and a second drive track with which the first and second thread supplying steps are performed by pushing these thread supplying mechanisms. A drive delaying section is provided in the second drive track to produce a time difference in supplying the threads at performing the first and second thread supplying steps. Knitting needles positioned between the thread supplying mechanisms of the first and second thread supplying devices are guided to reach the thread supplying positions and the threads are moved onto the knitting needles from the thread supplying mechanisms of the first and second thread changing devices due to the time difference in supplying the threads.
