PURPOSE: To realize a wide band range of axial ratio, by securing an alternate distribution between the antennas having nearly an adverse relation of variation modulus of a phase difference among polarized wave within an orthogonal face to the frequency.

CONSTITUTION: An array is formed by giving an alternate distribution between the antennas containing feeding patterns 31 and 33. In such formation of an array, the phase difference of polarized waves can be kept at 90° to a certain frequency. As a result, a circular polarized wave type array antenna having a wide band range can be obtained by selecting the frequency properly. Various types of formations of array such as a linear array is possible in addition to a face array for the distribution of antennas. Furthermore the forms of the patterns 31 and 33 are available with any other type of forms as long as nearly an adverse relation is secured for the phase difference of polarized waves.
