Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and early detect chipping during cutting in a circular saw cutting machine.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 200 comprises: a calculation processing substrate 210 which comprises a pulse reception circuit 211, a pulse count circuit 212, a rotational frequency derivation circuit 213, a memory part data storage circuit 214, an integrated circuit 215, a normalization processing circuit 216, and a moving average processing circuit 217, and derives a determination value for each cutting operation; and a detection processing substrate 220 which comprises a reference value storage circuit 221, a signal extraction circuit 222, a spike determination circuit 223, a spike cycle extraction circuit 224, and a periodicity determination circuit 225, and determines that chipping occurs when the state such that a difference between a determination value and a reference value exceeds a prescribed threshold periodically occurs during plural times of rotation of a main spindle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
