Abstract:
To effectively prevent rotation of a safety cover due to its self-weight without damaging the using feeling.
A connecting bar 13 is projected on a sector-like part 11 of the safety cover 9 so that the bar extends from the turning center O to the back side in the cutting direction at about 40° with respect to a base 2 in the closing state of the safety cover 9, an extension spring 14 is set up between the connecting bar 13 and the proximity of the base 2 on the back side of a blade case 4 in the cutting direction, and the safety cover 9 is rotated and energized to the closing state by a torque provided by a tensile force of the extension spring 14 and a distance S between the action line and the turning center O.
