The circular saw 100 cuts off the workpiece W with the saw blade 113 by putting the base 111 on the upper surface of the workpiece and moving the base together with the tool body 101. The handle 109 is disposed so as to cross the rotating axis of the saw blade 113 so that the extending direction of the handle 109 in plan view approaches the cutting line of the saw blade 113 forward of the saw blade 113 in the moving direction.
