To obtain a circular-weaving ground fabric for an air bag, which is rapidly developed, has an extremely slight air leakage, causes no warp fluffs due to low tension load applied to warps in weaving, has an extremely slight occurrence of wrinkles at a border between a double-weaving part and a single weaving part during coating processing, excellent qualities of woven fabric and is suitable especially for a curtain-like air bag.

(1) In the circular-weaving ground fabric for an air bag equipped with a connection belt on the outer periphery of a developable and swellable double-weaving part, the connection belt comprises a splashed pattern texture and a basket weave texture. (2) The circular-weaving ground fabric for an air bag has constitution that the connection belt comprises a splashed pattern texture, a double-weaving texture and a basket weave texture, the splashed pattern texture is positioned at the border side of the developable and swellable double-weaving part and the double-weaving texture and the basket weave texture are located on the outer periphery of the splashed pattern texture. (3) The curtain-like air bag is obtained by using the circular-weaving ground fabric for an air bag.
