Abstract:
To provide a circularity prediction method of a steel pipe and a circularity prediction device which can accurately predict circularity of a steel pipe after a pipe expansion step in a manufacturing process of a steel pipe consisting of a plurality of steps.SOLUTION: A circularity prediction method of a steel pipe predicts circularity of the steel pipe after a pipe expansion step in a manufacturing process of a steel pipe including: an end bending step of performing end bending processing at a width direction end part of the steel plate; a press-bend step of forming the steel plate with the end bending processing by applying pressing force multiple times by using a punch to be an open pipe; and a pipe expansion step of performing pipe expansion of the steel pipe where ends of the open pipe are joined with each other. The circularity prediction method thereof includes a step predicting circularity of the steel pipe after the pipe expansion step by use of a circularity prediction model learned by machine learning in which: input data includes one or more operational parameters selected from the operational parameters in the end bending step and one or more operational parameters selected from the operational parameters in the press-bend step; and output data is circularity information of the steel pipe after the pipe expansion step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
