Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vertically form the body of the coin receiving/paying machine in older to reduce its depth size.
SOLUTION: A coin receiving/paying port 3 and a coin storage part 4 are prepared at the upper and lower parts of a machine body 1 respectively, and vertical shoot 5 leads the coins received through the port 3 to the part 4. A coin carrier path 6 is set between the part 4 and the port 3, and a coin discrimination part 46 and the type-based branch parts 8 and 111 are prepared along the path 6. A type-based coin receiving/dispensing unit 9 is placed at the part 8 to receive the coins branched at the part 8 and also to send the coins to the shoot 5. In a coin receiving mode, the coins received through the port 3 are stored in the unit 9 via the shoot 5, the part 4, the path 6 and the part 8 respectively. In a coin dispensing mode, the coins sent out of the unit 9 are sent to the port 3 via the shoot 5, the, part 4, the path 6 and the part 111 respectively.
