The hair catcher 1 comprises a lid part 5 detachably mounted on the rim of an upper end opening, a flow-in pipe 3 and a flow-out pipe 4 communicating with an upper part and a lower part of the lid part respectively, and a mesh-like foreign matter capturing storage part 7 mounted inside with an upper end opening. The hair catcher 1 also has a slot 12 opened in the lid part 5 for loading sterilizer, a water-permeable solid sterilizer storage part 15, communicating with the slot 12 on the lower surface of the lid part 5, and a cap part 13 to open/close the slot 12.
