Abstract:
To provide a circulation type electric furnace capable of cooling a to-be-heated object to be heated at a fixed cooling velocity by taking-in the outside gas.SOLUTION: Provided is an electric furnace where a gas is circulated in a duct 6, comprising: a suction port 19 having one or more opening/closing means; and an exhaust port 23 having one or more opening/closing means, in which a heater unit 11, a gas permeable mounting part and a fan 7 are arranged in the process of a circulation passage, comprising means where, by changing the opening areas of the suction port 19 and the exhaust port 23, the gas at the outside of an electric furnace is taken in, and a to-be-heated object 4 is cooled at a desired cooling velocity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
