To provide a circulation type flush toilet allowing installation work of a septic tank and an intermediate water tank to be easily performed, capable of withstanding vibration without damage even at the time of the occurrence of a large-scale earthquake, eliminating increase of equipment cost, and preventing the septic tank from being enlarged.
A circulation type flush toilet includes: a toilet bowl 1; a flush tank 2 for storing washing water to be supplied to the toilet bowl 1; a discharge collecting tank 3 for storing discharge from the toilet bowl 1; a septic tank 4 for clarifying supernatant liquid of the discharge collecting tank 3; a supernatant liquid pipeline 5 for making the supernatant liquid flow from the discharge collecting tank 3 into the septic tank 4; an intermediate water tank 6 for storing intermediate water clarified in the septic tank 4; and a circulation device 7 for circulating the intermediate water stored in the intermediate water tank 6 to the flush tank 2. The discharge collecting tank 3, the septic tank 4, and the intermediate water tank 6 are installed, with tank bodies of the respective tanks being partially buried in the ground.
