PURPOSE: To provide a circulation type water-cooled engine pump capable of effectively cooling a water-cooled engine during the pump shutoff operation.

CONSTITUTION: This circulation type water-cooled engine pump is provided with a water feed pump main body 1 and a water-cooled engine 2 driving the water feed pump main body 1. The cooling water of the water-cooled engine 2 is fed to the engine side cooling water passage section 4b of the water-cooled engine 2 from the high pressure section 1c of the water feed pump main body 1, and it is returned to the water suction port 1d side of the low pressure section of the water feed pump main body 1 via a return side cooling water passage section 4d after the cooling of the water-cooled engine 2. The engine side cooling water passage section 4b is provided with a temperature operation valve mechanism 11 discharging the cooling water to the outside when the temperature of the cooling water rises to a prescribed temperature or above.
