Abstract:
To provide a civil engineering material using a processed product in which a urine absorbing product such as a used paper diaper and an incontinence pad is recycled.SOLUTION: A civil engineering material 1 uses a processed product in which a used urine absorbing product comprising a surface material being in contact with a skin, a rear face material not being in contact with a skin, and an absorbing member provided between the surface material and the rear face material and absorbing urine is fragmented and thermally treated. The civil engineering material comprises: a plurality of water absorbing pellets 10 composed of the processed product; and a bag 20 storing the plurality of pellets 10 and being provided with a port portion 21 which opens at an upper part. In a state where the plurality of pellets 10 is in the bag 20, water is given to the pellets 10 via the port portion 21, to be heavier than the pellets not absorbing water and to be used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
