Abstract:
To enable keeping strength required to resist an external force applied on a civil engineering structure by a steel frame and a filling material, saving weight by decreasing amount of steel material to be used, and maintaining a shape of the steel frame.SOLUTION: A civil engineering structure has a plurality of steel frames 10 connected to each other in a height direction H and a width direction W and a filling material charged in the steel frame 10. The steel frame 10 includes, as frame materials, a pair of column materials 11, 12, a pair of beam materials 13, 14 to connect an upper end and a lower end of the pair of column materials 11, 12 in the width direction W, joint materials 15, 16 to connect the upper end and the lower end of the column materials 11, 12 facing in depth direction, and a brace material 17 connecting the upper end of the column material 11 and the lower end of the column material 12.
