Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a clad plate being suitable to manufacture a hull and a marine structure without sticking microbe, such as shellfish, and a welding method for the clad plate.
CONSTITUTION: The clad plate 1 forming beryllium-copper alloy layer 3 on the surface of an iron plate 2 is manufactured. Further, the edge parts between the cladded materials are joined, and at the time of welding the joining edges, the beryllium-copper alloy layer sides in the joining edges are welded by using at least a welding rod of the beryllium-copper alloy. This clad plate has excellent corrosion resistant and non-stickness property to the microbe by the action of the beryllium-copper alloy.
