Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve remote controllability by providing a guide flange which contains a chain-like fastening mechanism which connects a clamp to a clamp plate, and arranging the guide flange movably in an axial direction with respect to one piping.
CONSTITUTION: Conical flanges 1a, 2a are respectively formed on ends of pipings 1, 2. A gasket 3 is arranged between the opposed flanges 1a and 2a. Clamp groups 4 are arranged so as to fit to conical portions of the flanges 1a, 2a. A guide flange 5 housing the clamp group 4 is slidably engaged with an outer periphery 1b of the piping 1. A projection 5e is formed on an end of the guide flange 5 so as to be moved by a remote control device, while a projection 1c is formed on the piping 1. The guide flange 5 is moved by attracting the projections. A clamp chain is not necessarily detached in every installation, and can be kept attached. Installation operation is simplified.
