Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp coupling for a shaft which can couple a shaft quickly easily from the side of a shaft-inserted part.
SOLUTION: This clamp coupling for a shaft has a side opening 11 into which a flat end part of a shaft S is inserted from the side in the side of an elastically contracting shaft-inserted part 1. On the outer peripheral surface of the tip of the shaft inserted part 1, a tapered part 13 gradually expanding toward the tip is formed. A fastening ring 2 which presses the tapered part 13 to elastically contract the shaft-inserted part 1 when moved toward the tip of the shaft-inserted part 1 is fitted on the outer periphery of the shaft inserted part 1. A fastening ring 2 is engaged with a depression S2 formed on the side of the shaft S in a state in which the shaft inserted part 1 is elastically contracted. The fastening ring 2 is always urged by a spring 3 toward the tip of the shaft-inserted part 1.
