Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device for pipe joint in which components do not wear and slackness does not occur in a clamp, and which does not require replacement of components.SOLUTION: A clamp device includes: a body for surrounding one part of the periphery of a pipe; a locking part provided at one end part of the body and for locking one end of a flange of a pipe joint; and an arm pivotally attached to the other end part of the body by a pivot shaft. The arm includes: an eccentric shaft fixed to a rotary shaft provided at the arm; a roller rotating around the eccentric shaft; and a pressing plate provided so as to move in parallel along the pivot shaft and slide with the arm. By rotating the rotary shaft, the roller presses the other end of the flange of the pipe joint via the pressing plate, and the pipe joint can be held tightly in the pipe placed in the body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
