Abstract:
To provide a clamp device that can confirm that an object to be clamped is pressed successfully.SOLUTION: A movement mechanism (3) provided in a clamp device moves a movable member (2) to a lock position so that the member approaches an object (15) to be clamped with respect to a base member (1). A clamp arm (22) provided in the movable member (2) presses the object (15) to be clamped. The clamp device comprises a switch (33) that detects the movement of the movable member (2) to the lock position. When a control part (35) controls the movement mechanism (3) so that the mechanism moves the movable member (2) to separate from the lock position, with the movable member (2) moved to the lock position and the clamp arm (22) moved to a position for pressing the object (15) to be clamped, the switch (33) detects whether the movable member (2) is moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
