Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a clamp device which can grip surely columnar or cylindrical loads, at least one to four of them.
CONSTITUTION: When three drums D are gripped, front and rear sub clamp plates 30, 31 are fixingly arranged at the most distant positions from a center pin 25. And, one drum is arranged at a position that abuts against the grip portion 22b of a clamp plate 20 on the left side, and the other drums are respectively arranged at positions that butt against front and rear sub clamp plates 30, 31, and the drums are clamped. At this time, push-pressing force that is added to the drums from the grip portion 22b, is added in a direction toward the center of a clamp plate 24 on the right side. Also, drums that abut against sub clamp plates receive force that is in a direction to separate them mutually, from the drum that abuts against the grip portion 22b. However, as they receive force that is against this force, from sub clamp plates 30, 31, the three drums are clamped in a stable state.
